The entanglement and love affairs of two neighboring families sets resentment which circles around to the next generation, fueling hatred and revenge, but also more love.The story is about Chuen's and Bua Pan's two families. Cheun has two sons while Bua Pan has three daughters. The two neighbors' friendly relationship ends when one of Cheun’s sons drowns while trying to save one of Bua Pan’s daughters, Mali. Cheun’s remaining son, Bok Pong, goes behind his mother’s back to date Bua Pan’s oldest girl, Mala, as they are in love.

A spoiled playboy is forced to leave town to avoid the press, which latches on to his statement, while tipsy, that he will give away his fortune. He disguises himself and gets a job as a laborer at a day-care center. He finds himself attracted to the owner, a pretty young girl determined to make life better for her charges, and he soon begins to question his own priorities.

A henpecked husband tries to help his daughter marry the man she loves and his wife loathes.

Two hilarious short stories set in the milieu of apprentice youth, depicting the amorous travails of teenage boys. In the first story, "The Sorrows of the Devil's Apprentice", we see a talkative storekeeper who is constantly advising his charges on how they should behave, unaware that one of the young men has fallen in love with his daughter. Overcoming shyness is also depicted in the second of the stories, entitled "May I Beg, Helen?"

Documentary filmmaker Védrès' first semi-fictional feature was released in France in 1949 as La Vie Commence Demain. The film made it to the U.S. in 1952 as Life Begins Tomorrow. Made in cooperation with UNESCO, the film speculates on the future of mankind after the advent of Atomic Energy. Many prominent French artists and intellects contribute to the narration: Jean-Pierre Aumont plays The Man of Today, Andre Labarthe is the Man of Tomorrow, and Jean-Paul Sartre, Daniel Agache, Jean Rostand, Le Corbusier, Pablo Picasso and Andre Gide are respectively seen as "The Existentialist," "The Psychiatrist,' "The Biologist," "The Architect," "The Artist" and "The Author". Film clips of hospitals, schoolrooms, scientific laboratories, and even nightclubs are woven into Védrès' fascinating tapestry.

A group of seniors attends a workshop on sex. Olga, their teacher, try to make them see that their bodies are still alive giving them homework such as learning to look at themselves in the mirror or dedicate twenty minutes a day to some pleasant activity. The problem is that neither society nor their own relatives are always willing to accept that elderly people have their own sexuality.
